Hundreds of guys from around the world took this extensive and ongoing survey from Alex and Brett Harris of TheRebelution.com on the stumbling blocks they have with how women dress. This survey asks guys what they think about tight pants, v-neck shirts, layering, tights, high heels, makeup, strapless gowns–you name it.
The survey is broken down by the guys’ age and schooling, and there are comments for each survey statement where the guys could explain their answers or comment further.
Modesty is a topic that people don’t talk about often–but it’s such an important part of living out our faith. Dressing modestly (and I’d love to debunk prudishness vs. modesty in a post soon!) is so much about living out genuine love for our neighbor–for girls, our male neighbors–so that we point them to God with our clothes, instead of distract them from Him.
