Last Monday was the feast day of St. Frances of Rome. I wouldn’t have known that it was her feast day at all, had I not stumbled across Brandon Vogt’s great article on her via Facebook.

It was this more extended article on her life that brought tears to my eyes, though.

What bravery and dauntlessness she showed.
What a blessing she was to her husband and children.
What suffering and trial and and tragedy she took on with a humble, obedient heart.
What respect she had for the work of a wife and mother, from giving a party to running a large household.

This is a Heavenly Titus 2 woman to look up to.
