UpcomingEpisodes

I’ve been doing an awful lot of podcast recording and not a lot of podcast publishing this spring. (But did you see the special episode with my husband, Michael, that I just published? I think you’ll enjoy it!)

My season of life is full to the brim with all of my babies and blessings, and it’s taken me a while to realize that I can’t keep up with everything, to be completely honest. I’m learning that what I can do is give an unreserved “yes” to those things I know God is really asking of me right now, and that I need to leave the thought of all the rest to Him.

I scheduled a wonderful lineup of interviews just about every week this spring, and my overambitious self thought I’d be able to keep up with going back and producing all of those interviews. It’s sort of laughable to me now that I thought I could keep up with it all!

The good news is that I’ve finally finished my spring marathon of interviews! And by “all of these,” I mean twelve. Yep…get really excited.:)

Since I can’t give you a timeline for when each new episode will come out, now would be a great time to subscribe to The Right Heart if you haven’t done so already. If you’re subscribed to the podcast, you get a quick email each time I publish a new episode (with a link to listen to the new episode right there in your inbox if you want).

To subscribe, just put your name and email into the boxes located at the very top of any page of my website (and make sure you confirm your subscription when I send you the confirmation email.)

Upcoming Episodes

Erika Marie of One Simple Mama – Anxiety and motherhood (this was an awesome conversation that I can’t wait to share with you!)

Jenny Ryan of Mothering Sunshine – Passing on the Catholic faith to our kids – Jenny and I actually had such a wonderful conversation that we completely lost track of time! So, Jenny’s interview will actually come out as two separate podcast episodes (both of which you’ll absolutely love, trust me!)

Tim Rinaldi of TimRinaldi.com – Mission work and his book, Mission from the Depths

Haley Stewart of Carrots of Michaelmas – Discernment as a married couple

Lisa Schmidt of The Practicing Catholic – Exploring the idea of “Sunday rest”

Dr. Daniella Zsupan-Jerome – Evangelization with New Media

Staci Gulino of StaciGulino.com – How to look at the intersection of spirituality and mental health as a Catholic; Great resources for common mental health-related problems

Katie Warner of CatholicKatie.com – Spiritual leadership in the home; her book, Head and Heart

Katie Sciba of The Catholic Wife – Health and Wellness for Moms

Lis Luwia of CatholicMommyBlogs.com – How CatholicMommyBlogs.com got started; Mass with small children, Online community for moms

Michele Faehnle – Her book, Divine Mercy for Moms; Practical ways for busy moms to live a life of mercy. You’re going to love this practical, encouraging episode about real opportunities to live mercifully right in the middle of daily life.

Susan Bailey – Her book, River of Grace, and finding grace and hope in the midst of different kinds of grief

{NEW!} Upcoming Mini Episodes of The Right Heart

St. Josemaria Escriva’s 17 Pieces of Humble Pie – I go through this list of common responses and attitudes that show a lack of humility.

What I’ve Learned So Far in the Year of Mercy – I talk about the little opportunities for being merciful that my daily life presents to me, and why “being  more merciful” doesn’t necessarily mean doing more, but rather doing what I’m already doing, but with an intentionally merciful heart

Very exciting for you! You have been busy! Can I ask who your intended audience is for this show? Are single women or women who are married but are childless included? Thank you and good luck!

Hi Leigh! I have such a wide variety of topics and episodes on the show. I record about what interests me, and I’m interested in a lot more than just young marriage and mommy topics.:) The show is more about being a Catholic Christian than being specifically a mom, although I bring my own life and experiences into the show, of course. Thanks for the encouragement! God bless– Erin

Hi there!

I'm a south Louisiana girl, Catholic wife, writer, speaker, and mother of six. Since I started my blog way back in 2009, life has been a roller coaster of babies, plot twists and a plane crash or two. I've been chronicling things here as I've been learning to love and suffer and laugh and trust in the goodness of God in the ordinary and the extraordinary--with a little espresso and a lot of Divine Mercy.
