This one’s for the guys (but the girls will love it, too!).

Jim Havens of the Catholic Family Men blog joined me for this episode of the podcast way back last fall. I had been wanting to do some episodes of The Right Heart geared more toward the guys, and when I came across Jim’s blog, I decided he’d be a good man for the job!

Jim and I had a great conversation about challenges and advice for young husbands and fathers (or those of you who aren’t exactly young, but are new to the game:). We chatted about lots of helpful tips for figuring out the vocation to marriage in those first few years of marriage and parenting.

I feel terrible that it’s taken this long to release his episode, by the way. I’ve been so grateful for Jim’s cheerful and humble patience in waiting for me to get things together on my end.

The good news is that I believe that both Jim and all of you wonderful listeners out there will think this episode was worth the wait!

Hi there!

I'm a south Louisiana girl, Catholic wife, writer, speaker, and mother of six. Since I started my blog way back in 2009, life has been a roller coaster of babies, plot twists and a plane crash or two. I've been chronicling things here as I've been learning to love and suffer and laugh and trust in the goodness of God in the ordinary and the extraordinary--with a little espresso and a lot of Divine Mercy.
