My cutie-pie brother, Ryan, is working for us this summer, and we have so enjoyed having him around in the evenings a lot.:) We have spent some lovely summer evenings in our backyard all just hanging out.
On to the topic of today’s post: Ryan is in great shape. Like, really great shape. After doing a full day of manual labor-type work in 101-degree heat for our lawn care company, he will go out and do a 20-minute “AMRAP” (As Many Reps As Possible) CrossFit workout in our backyard after dinner.
Yesterday, he did 50 pushups in a row lifting 25lb weights alternately on each side, then he did 55 table jumps onto our picnic table, and then he threw a huge tractor tire across the yard. Then he repeated all three exercises as much as he could in 20 minutes. He got through everything twice. I kid thee not.
We are in awe.
