We had such a wonderful Saturday morning!
I got up at 6:15 to feed Gabriel, and when he was done with his breakfast, we went back to Mommy and Daddy’s room to snuggle. All three of us ended up falling back asleep until 9am!
I got up at 9 to make raspberry coffee cake for breakfast, and Gabriel and Michael had some father-son bonding for a while as they lay in bed. I snuck in with our video camera after the coffee cake came out of the oven, and I got some adorable video of my two boys all snuggled up together. (By the way, I’m hoping to figure out today how to post video to my blog. Stay tuned.) After breakfast (including Second Breakfast for Gabe 🙂 we all lay down in the living room and played on the floor together. For lunch, we are taking a picnic out to the park for a walk and some sunshine.

He really does look like a Franco, except that his eyes are actually bright blue right now (they look brown in the picture).
I just make one box of the $.60 Jiffy raspberry (or blueberry) muffin mix in a loaf pan, and top it with brown sugar, cinnamon, butter and flour mixed together for a topping. It took me 10 minutes to get everything in the oven so I could get back to snuggling 🙂
I'm so impressed… with the head lifting AND the getting up to make raspberry coffe cake! Impressed, Erin. Super impressed.
